Hello!
Zayna Flahaut MS, RDN, CDN, LDN
Owner - Registered Dietitian
My journey to becoming a registered dietitian started when I chose nutrition as my topic for a research paper. Little did I know that it would completely change my life! I craved to learn more about food and its role in our everyday lives. I became passionate about not only studying food and its physiological processes in the human body, but also the emotional connections, behaviors, and influences that surround nutrition. Not only has this changed my personal life and relationship with food, but I have seen it change so many lives every single day. My purpose is to provide a sustainable approach to nutrition that prioritizes balance, positive relationships with food, and food freedom.
My nutrition counseling style is a non-diet approach to help clients experience greater joy and fulfillment in life and in their relationship with food - without strict diets or food rules. You can learn to tune into your hunger and fullness cues, trust yourself around all types of food, and free your mind from obsessive, restrictive thoughts about food. My intention is to meet you exactly where you are and build a bridge from there.

My approach to nutrition counseling is rooted in empathy, compassion, and evidence-based practices. I believe in taking a multi-factorial approach, addressing not just what you eat, but why you eat. With a passion in pediatric nutrition, I have a deep understanding of the unique dietary needs of children and adolescents, as well as the crucial role nutrition plays in their growth, development, and overall well-being. Whether it's optimizing nutrition for picky eaters, managing food allergies, or supporting children with chronic health conditions, I am committed to providing personalized guidance and practical solutions that work for the whole family. I am also passionate about helping individuals achieve their performance and weight management goals. Whether you're a young athlete looking to enhance your performance on the field, or someone struggling with weight management or chronic dieting, I am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we will work to develop sustainable habits, cultivate a positive relationship with food, and achieve your health and wellness goals. I am here to provide you with the tools, knowledge, and support you need to thrive.
Let's embark on this journey towards better health and well-being together!

Registered Dietitian
My curiosity about the nutrition world started during my high school years. Being an athlete my whole life, I was interested in learning how to improve performance and fuel my body with the foods I ate. The more I studied nutrition the more I realized how deep nutrition goes. Throughout my years of training and research, I have learned the reasons behind "why" and "what" we eat. I’ve also learned the importance of the composition of foods, the ways food connects us, and how to resolve my own food restrictions. I find it empowering to help others do the same! My purpose is to help others find realistic and attainable goals around nutrition and wellbeing, shatter the food stigmas that are negatively affecting our day to day lives, and help heal one’s relationship with food.
My counseling style is related to food freedom and releasing one’s self from the “Wellness rabbit hole” and societal pressures we all feel. I use an individualistic approach to goal setting and meet you where you are at. I will not promise you a quick fix, or change your life in one fairytale session-- but I promise to guide you through a journey of healing and a newfound empowerment of your life.
I am excited to get to work with you!

Registered Dietitian
My journey to becoming a registered dietitian began with my personal struggle with disordered eating. Improving my relationship with food transformed my life and sparked a deep desire to help others achieve the same freedom and balance. Initially, my work as a dietitian focused on kidney disease, where I loved helping clients manage their health and prevent complications through tailored nutrition strategies. However, after facing complications during my pregnancy, including preeclampsia and severe morning sickness, my passion shifted toward women’s health. I now specialize in prenatal and postnatal nutrition, supporting women through the unique challenges of pregnancy, recovery, and motherhood. As a new mom myself, I understand the importance of realistic, sustainable nutrition advice and strive to create plans that prioritize nourishment, healing, and joy. While women’s health is my primary focus, I love helping people from all walks of life improve their overall health and prevent future complications through better nutrition.
My approach is rooted in compassion and evidence-based practices, emphasizing balance, positive relationships with food, and long-term sustainability. My goal is to meet you where you are and empower you with the tools and knowledge to live a healthier, happier life.
